The Slow-movingTraffic
I bought a cabin bag at 70% off today.
It's mine. All mine.
I'm so happy.
In the last round, I decided to pack two of each kind. Realizing that I need to be more practical in my packing, I have managed to pare it down to this:
That should do it for the winter.
An update on my list:
1. A rainbow camera strap for my new ancient slr found one on eBay
2.A camera bag for my new ancient slr He returned what was rightfully mine
3.Timbuk2 backpack. Can't order it, don't have enough time

13. A pretty Starbucks tumbler. Ask me which one
14. Waterproof (transparent) Otterboxes to keep my toys tidy Otterboxes turn out to be too chunky. I'll stick to Daiso containers

And the booklist?
1. Around The World In Eighty Days, Jules Verne
2. The Pigeon, Patrick Süskind
3. The Glass Menagerie, Tennessee Williams
4. The Metamorphosis, Franz Kafka
5. The Catcher In The Rye, J.D. Salinger
6. [fill in blank]
7. Phoenix Wright (1)
8. Phoenix Wright (2)
9. The Little Prince, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
10. And of course, Pride & Prejudice, Jane Austen.
Oh yeah, exciting news. I finally own the Lamy Safari Vista with a medium nib. The medium nib writes smoothly, but I've read that the extra-fine is also good. Would be nice to be able to try that out as well but I can't find any replacement nibs on eBay. Any ideas?
Currently trying out a black ink from a cartridge. Cartridges are more practical at the moment, since piston-powered fountain pen do not travel well on airplanes unless we empty out the reservoir or fill it up entirely (no air, no leaks)
I hope to find good ink in Beijing, considering it IS the land of calligraphy.
I wonder if Lamy ever made it to China?
Er.
Farm-o-saurus Rex...?
Really, Zynga?
