The Listed Life

Did not sleep last night partly because of pain and discomfort, partly because of my anxiety issues.

So I ended up planting raspberries on Farmville all night long.

Hey, at least I put my time to good use.

Need to:

1. Buy ticket and process visa

I actually have not bought my plane ticket, so at this point my departure date is really up to me. I thought I would have reasons to stick around here a little longer and leave at the latest possible date, but hey, hermits have no reasons to stick around, right?

2. Eat more Japanese food

The only kind of food I will miss and still be too lazy to make at home.

3. Sift through clothing

But my luggage is still missing!!! How do I know how much I can bring if I can't fill up my luggage and see what fits and what won't...?

4. Bake biscuits

Because eid is nigh.

5. Give pigs a bath

Because they smell. And that reflects badly on me as their caretaker.

6. Go shopping for guinea pig supplies

Because guinea pigs are not known to do their own shopping

I want a duo fiber makeup brush. I don't really know why, since I don't wear foundation, and hardly ever need to tone down blushers or whatnot.

Maybe because it's pretty. Hahaha.

I dreamt I was marrying Josh Lucas, but that's not important.

The wedding reception was at a shopping mall, but that too was not important.

I wore a beautiful beaded white dress, still not important. I was gorgeous, nope, nothing. Many people came. Still nada.

The banquet hall was next to Borders, now that starts to increase in importance.

I ran off from the reception into Borders and started picking out Moleskines. THAT was important.

This dream has inspired me to get married close to Borders.

I just hope Josh will understand.

Why I do well as a hermit:
1. I hate locking doors but equally hate being walked in on
2. I'm not very good at sharing things
3. My favorite things to do can be done in my lonesome. Like drawing/painting. And writing. And reading
4. eBay
5. People distract me. I hate teamwork and I accomplish more when I'm by myself

My 16 year old cat has a death wish and has been refusing to eat anything for over a month now. We force feed her with a syringe. And by we, I mean I. Because dirty things like these are often left to me.

Neither of us enjoy the twice a day feeding sessions, and I try to make it as painful for her as possible so as to entice her into eating by herself.

I now know I have a masochist of a cat. She still won't touch her food.

I am still awaiting eight parcels from all over the world. The 'oldest' I await is nearly six weeks old. That is from the US. International shipping and all, that's still a little long. However the most ridiculous I await is one from Singapore supposedly mailed out three weeks ago.

It's funny because some items ordered from the UK arrive within a week. The most fantastic was my watercolor paintbox which only took 4 days.

Pos Malaysia is amazing. Nothing is predictable anymore.

Going to get a haircut.

Since I'll be working for a radio station, bad hair days should be the last on my list of concerns, but I'd still like to sport a more manageable cut.

And less hair equals less shampoo and conditioner, right?

I love apples.

Among the greatest loss I have felt since I had my braces put on? Not being able to bite into an apple.

*sigh*

Unlike other fruits, oranges or strawberries for example - which I do not miss eating because of their braces-friendly alternatives - an appleless existence has hit me hard. Sipping apple juice or eating apple sauce is just not the same.
