The Blue Day
This promises to be a picture heavy entry, and by heavy, I mean there will be more than the usual random couple of pictures posted. Because I got trigger happy with the camera. And felt the need to share. Because sharing truly is caring.
Okay CUT!
First up, someone from work just got married.
Haven't gotten to know her that well yet, but she extended her invitation personally I thought it would be nice to show a little support. She's a few years younger than I am, which got me to thinking...
- but hey, love and getting married and all that has nothing to do with age right?

And hell yeah!
There was a bubble blowing machine present. Those are actual soap bubbles, not some neat camera/photoshop trick. Kids went crazy over the bubbles. Always the child at heart, I was a bubbly guest too. (no pun intended)
Perhaps at my wedding (*ahem*) we'll set up a fog machine to enable yours truly to disappear while kidnapping the cake?
Because when it comes to cake, I'd much rather stuff my face, and mine mine alone in it. I don't care if sharing is caring, I call keep-offsies.
Hmph. We'll see.
I didn't get to eat on account of an unhappy tummy, but based on (somewhat) reliable sources, the buffet was quite nice. Didn't get to eat the cake either, so can't comment on the effect the bubbles had on the cake. LOL.

They looked happy. A BIG congratulations to them.
Oh yeah.
My date-cum-driver took the trouble to get all dressed up and looked great.

KUDOS!
My unhappy tummy is still unhappy, even though it's been days since the initial unhappiness.
Random thought:
Places I would travel to and the reasons to go there.
Japan
nonsense reasons: uh... school girl stuff, game console stuff. This one's pretty obvious, no?
not nonsense: food
The US
nonsense reasons: Walmart, Target, Staples, Sephora. Also obvious.
not nonsense: to see a certain special someone. Plus, to check out where he spent those missing years.
Beijing
nonsense reasons: to be alone
not nonsense: to be alone
On to the guinea pigs!
This little piggie is so grown up now.

Almost seven months old and a stinky teenager. But he acts like a baby and still demands to be picked up and hand fed from time to time.
On the other hand, this one is still as paranoid as the first day we took him home - and that was more than 3 years ago!

Always so worried that I would kidnap him and eat him up!
But then again, who could blame him? In some parts of the world, guinea pigs are a delicacy. In fact, I can't say that I haven't thought of gobbling him up myself...
*ahem*
Anyway,

I love that picture. They truly are brothers, aren't they? And like true brothers, they bicker and fight. Over toys. Over the water bottle. Over hay.

Come on now Truffle, sharing truly is caring... Koko needs to eat the hay too.
But at the end of the day,

just like true brothers, they are inseparable.
