The Red Tooth

How is it that I always fall for the adorable, tall, dark haired sweetheart who also happens to not exist???

I have recently introduced a product into my routine which will hopefully combat the dry flaky skin that is the result of air-conditioning and incompatible tap water - once and for all.

After ten days of twice daily use I have noticed a significant change in the overall softness and smoothness in my skin. No more itchiness and flakes. And no longer red after washing/rinsing my face. Oh so happy for now.

Product picture and complete review at the end of the month.

Squirrels climb into our kitchen at nights and steal our bread.

What has the world come to?

January has come to an end and I have yet to buy anything off of my January book list.

It shall be renamed February book list. Hopefully in the next 28 days I can find time to buy and read at least one new book.

Failing which it shall be renamed March book list. HA HA HA

A couple of months ago I chipped a tooth while eating and never gotten around to fixing it. It didn't hurt, so I went and forgot about it. Completely.

Fast forward months later, this horrible and debilitating pain starts setting in. At first it wasn't as unbearable, I could still eat and sleep at night. Because of the nature of my current job I couldn't just make a run for the nearest dentist and so I put up with the pain for at least a week.

Until now.

When I finally had time to consider looking for the GPS coordinates of a respectable dentist, I realized that I had already upped the dosage of pain meds so much that I risked both killing myself and getting fired (my job has an insane anti-drug policy) - although if I had really overdosed, losing my job is the last thing I should be worrying about.

On Wednesday I was turned down by two dentists because they were too busy to handle a walk in patient no matter how red and swollen the patient's eyes were from crying due to the pain.

On Thursday I found a third dentist who was kind enough to take me in.

Turns out the chip was far worse than I had ever imagine it to be. Because of the shape of the chip, some inner parts of the teeth was exposed and now I suffer from some nerve infections.

The nerve-

Well anyway, a thorough cleaning and a jab later, I skipped out of the office and straight to a soup joint for much needed nourishment.

Long story short, on Friday the pain became so unbearable that the only way of staying alive involved rinsing my mouth with clean water every couple of minutes. Now I couldn't possibly rinse and spit seeing as I plan to work in that office for many more months, so I used bottled water and swallowed after. Needless to say, I went through six bottles of water before I finally decided that what I was doing was borderline masochistic - I packed up and locked up the place.

Again I went to the dentist to get shot, er, jabbed. The doctor was very sympathetic, but good humored enough to laugh when I told him of my methods in dealing with the pain. Oh well, pain aside, I was well hydrated for once. I'm sure my kidneys thanked me.

Oh boy. At the risk of sounding like a real addict, I must admit that that shot was the best fix ten bucks could buy.

My problem is (aside from everything else previously mentioned) I don't have very strong teeth. This was not the first time I've chipped a tooth only previously the chip was so minute it was negligible. I think it's probably related to my seven long years of carbimazole dependency. *SIGH*

I NEED Thompson's Teeth.

Oh you know, the ONLY teeth strong enough to eat other teeth...?
