The Sleeping Star

Half a morning, many smiles and four full vials later, I leave UMMC.
It's the first time I've had my blood drawn at UMMC and at first didn't know what to expect. Completely different from what I was used to in HUKM, but nevertheless the procedure was fairly simple - take a number, pay up front, wait for your number to be called, let the bloodsuckers work on you, say thank you, leave.
My attendant accidentally allowed the needle to slip out (causing precious blood to rush out) and had to stab me again. When asked whether I was in pain, I said it wasn't anything I'm not used to. She appreciated my good humor.
The wait itself was not very long. There were about 30 people in queue ahead of me when I got my number, but with six counters running one next to the other, I think all in all I waited about half an hour.
Not bad at all.
Better than HUKM I must say. I'm glad I made the switch.
Anyway, my appointment is on the 15th, that leaves just enough time for the lab to run all six or seven or however many tests it is they need to run.
With the empty stomach and the amount they took, I had anticipated dizzy spells. Nada. Lucky me.
In five months, I have managed to fill up my UMMC appointment card and finish up my first batch of stickers. Will I get a new card and more stickers on my next visit?
^____^
Spent the rest of the day at the pyramid while my dad runs off to Glenmarie to have a look at our car. Sometimes I think that car means more to him than..... no. Forget it.
So so so so so so so so...
I finally got myself something I've always always wanted ever since I was four feet tall: label maker.

And wouldn't you know it? I haven't been able to stop punching labels *SIGH*
Originally wanted to get the Dymo. That baby was WOW.

But the MoTEX was a good 20bucks cheaper. And looked more dated. So went with that one instead. Plus you can't beat that satisfying old school KTAP KTAP KTAP!!!
I used to label all my things with my name, but before I would print out my name on a piece of paper and stick it with cellophane tape. It wasn't the best way to label, but it fed my obsession so I lived with it.
But now, now the possibilities are endless!
ANAZ PUNYA. ANAZ PUNYA. ANAZ PUNYA. ANAZ PUNYA.
On stationery. On random objects. On furniture. On people?
LOL.
Also got the Dog Town journal since the Cat's Meow is full.

Peter Pauper is no pauper! Well, if he ever was, he no longer will be.
Trust me.
I left the house this morning with my DS - sans memory card. I had taken out the card yesterday evening to: install new software, tidy up a little and scan for viruses/infections, after which I forgot to stick the little piece of plastic back into the machine.

THINGS RECENTLY DISCOVERED:
ONE. POLYVORE
Stuff I wish was mine:

Stuff I really carry around:
Okay bohong. My hand cream isn't exactly like the one pictured, my eye pencil is from MAC not NARS, my blush stick is not the TokiDoki version, my pillbox is rectangle, Kleenex instead of Walgreens tissue, lilac wallet not purple.. black sharpie... kunci rumah bukan macam tu... er... the rest is pretty accurate.Perlu lebih warna warni.
TWO. RAPIDSHARE
The One I have been relying on all this while for movies, tv series and mp3 is about to leave on a trip to Abu Dhabi. So I HAD to learn to downlowd things for myself.
Ha ha ha.
Tak semudah yang disangkakan. Definitely testing my patience.
THREE. I CAN'T SHARPEN MY 2mm PENCIL
Not with a knife, I can't. I need a sharpener *SIIIIIGH*
Sure, my pencil comes with a built in sharpener on the end... but it's hardly the same. It doesn't sharpen the tip to a needle-point that is oh-so necessary in stabbing annoying people.FOUR. KUCING TAK SUKA KENA LABEL
LOL.
