The Rising Up
First thing's first, I found Dr Pepper in Lot 10.
I'm keeping FIVE in the bedroom... and the rest will be oh-so neatly arranged in the pantry. Off limits to everyone but me. Of course.
Don't ask me how many cans I bought in all. LOL. Let's just say the cashier couldn't help but laugh at me. Yes, good luck carrying the bags to the car or train station, scrawny little Pepper maniac! - well he didn't exactly say that, but I bet he was thinkin it though - I was wearing my Pepper t-shirt while clearing out Isetan's stock; purely coincidence...
but are there really such things as coincidences I wonder?
A few new things:
new bottle of hand sanitizer, Hudson's Jujubes and a duck toy/keychain that actually goes QUACK!
Too bad we don't have this here. Be so cool to be able to hang hand sanitizers on... something. Or on everything.
I'm still downloading Monk. Five seasons already now. It's taken up so much disc space. My computer may begin to hate me. I know I'd hate someone if they forced things into my head and took up all the space there - which is why I hated most parts of law school. LOL.
Maybe I should consider investing in an external drive... they're not really that expensive anymore, are they? Maybe I can afford to - oh who am I kidding? Me being the kedekut that I am, I'd probably just sit around on my ass waiting for hand-me downs or something. How likely is that to happen?
Some serious stuff, my endo checkup on the 15th went well. I'm now okay to go on minus one type of medication. When it comes to drugs, less definitely IS more.
But I've been given some blood test forms to keep with me, just in case I should feel like some symptoms are coming back before my next appointment. And for the record, I got a new hospital card, but no new stickers. Bummer.
I've been off painkillers since the last time I was in the hospital (in May, before my exams) so that means I've been clean for FOUR months. I should wear a badge or carry a chip around, something like what members of NA get when they stay clean?
Mmm.
I have been doing nothing much but run around on road trips and buying things for people in need... I've cleaned out my closet and set aside clothes I no longer want. I've been online a whole lot, my modem screams for mercy on a daily basis, I hate the new Facebook and really don't get why some people actually love it. I ran out of books to read and dread on starting the Serial Killer book Kau lent to me.
I have made a cosmetics bag recently. Time to find something else to make.
I must always keep myself occupied.
Maybe I'll make this little darling?

Speaking of gadgets, I spent half an hour standing in front of FotoFlash in KLCC last night, staring and gaping at Leicas like I was possessed until I was almost chased away. Almost.
RM18k and RM14k respectively.
Those two figures would add up into the price of a small car.
I like things looking ancient. Cameras from the World War are hot.
I like the Russian Zorki Model 1A *SIGH* If only...
If I had all the money in the world and I could buy anything, anything at all within the next heartbeat, THREE things I would buy:
1. The two Leicas. Why would I need two cameras? One's for using, the other is just a trophy. Figure out which is which.
2. The Samsonite Verana. Yeah, I have all the money in the world and I buy a $80 dollar bag? LOL. I don't like Coach or LV or any of that stuff. I'm not like that.
3. The company that makes Purell/Dettol/Savlon. I like being almost 99.99% germ free almost all the time. Wait. Should I buy Cadbury Schweppes instead? Then I'd always have Pepper.....
