The One In
I hate the Pos Malaysia website.

I used their online calculator to calculate poslaju cost for an item I was about to sell and got rm3.50 as my total. After adjusting for S&H, I charged my buyer rm4.
My buyer promptly paid price plus poslaju charges.
Today I went to the post office.
Was charged rm5.20. Just great.
Rugi rm1.70 on the shipping.
Remember that I'm in my clearing mode, so the money doesn't really matter to me. I just wanted to get rid of my stuff, so I didn't mind that the difference in the shipping had to come out of my item's price.
Heck, I would've been glad to give it away for free if I thought anybody was interested.
It's really not the money. rm1.70 is just pocket change. I probably wouldn't miss it is I misplaced it.
It's the being duped by a website that's getting to me. I shall never use the calculator again. Ever. Ever ever.
Rakan Kepercayaan Anda my foot.
*SIGH*
Fall is here (well not in KL obviously) and NBC has come to my rescue and solved my "I'm done downloading and watching Monk, what do I do now???!!!" problem.
Season 5 of The Office airs every Thursday night.

Though I wont be able to download as feverishly as I did with Monk, at least I'll have something new to watch every week.
Ah. I live.
I am so sore from cleaning up the whole house.
Vacuumed, mopped, scrubbed the bath, cleaned all mirrors, did most windows, wiped almost every surface with Dettol and Clorox disinfectant wipes. Kudos to those who came up with them, I can't even remember what life was like before 99.99% germ free was possible.
I'm pretty good at cleaning up.
And you know what? If this whole criminal justice thing doesn't work out for me, it's good to know that I already have an alternate career option.
I can always clean houses.
Professionally.
And get paid like rm30 per hour.
My mom is in town for the week. Yes THAT is why I've been so psychotic with the cleaning. I don't want her complaining about the place...
Which reminds me... they need a bath.

Yesterday a kancil ran into us from behind.
The damage didn't look as bad at first, just a dent in the rear bumper. But today we learn that the exhaust pipe cracked. No, we did not get the driver's phone number because at the site he paid us rm50 to get the dent taken care of. If we'd caught the crack there and then, we would've asked for the half-K.
It was a bumper to bumper crawl near half a mile to the police station traffic lights, and his feet had slipped off the brake pedal. Because he was wearing sliper jepun.
So please wear shoes while driving. At least get Asadi's if you're so bent on wearing slipers.
I don't know just what it is about me and cars, but whenever anything happens, just anything at all, I end up bumping my head against something hard. Yesterday was no exception.
For a while there I thought I saw stars.
I'm just lucky to have thick skull.
Between the roughhousing and boxing and car incidents and falling down stairwells and ladders and etc, I should be careful of developing Parkinson's disease.
*SIGH*
Well anyway, I've been completely consumed by this obsession for 1-up mushrooms.
This is my first ever quadrille sketchbook and it's filled with so many mushrooms (of assorted colors of course) that I've decided to name the sketchbook "The One Up Book". LOL.

Let's see if they attract any Italian plumbers. LOL.
Say if you're ever in the mood for some Batu Pahat style Nasi Beriani Gam, and you just so happen to be in the vicinity of Uniten (Bangi) you might wanna check this out:
KUDA????!!! OSTRICH?????!!!!!!
I wonder how they taste........
Hey, if you're so hungry you can eat a horse, now you know where you should go.
LOL.
In my last entry, I had gotten some dates mixed up and ended up wishing her a Happy Birthday before it was due.
Hah hah hah. Maaf ya?
Today (which is the right date) I shall wish her again!
